Binance AVAX/USDT Liquidation Heatmap

What is the Avalanche Liquidation Heatmap?

The Avalanche Liquidation Heatmap identifies the price levels where leveraged AVAX/USDT positions are most exposed to forced closure. Those levels tend to attract price, because the orders waiting there are guaranteed to execute once touched.

Read it by intensity first. A bright band is a concentration of positions that will be closed at market if reached, and that forced flow is what turns an ordinary test of a level into a fast one.

Avalanche sits in a useful middle ground for this kind of analysis. Its derivatives books are deep enough that a single cluster rarely clears the whole range in one move, so exposure tends to work off in steps. That makes the heatmap more of a staged roadmap here than the all-at-once flush pattern seen in thinner markets.

How to Read Our Liquidation Heatmap

The AVAX heatmap breaks down into five readable parts:

  • Color Intensity: Brighter areas carry heavier leveraged AVAX exposure and mark the levels most likely to see a reaction.
  • Horizontal Bands: Stacked bands show where liquidation orders accumulate, often defining the working range between them.
  • Volume Scale (left): Puts a dollar figure on exposure at each level, which is how you rank one cluster against another.
  • Price Scale (right): Maps each cluster to a live AVAX price, giving clean levels for entries and stops.
  • Candlestick Path (center): Shows AVAX price working through the exposure field, which suits a market that clears its clusters in stages.
  • Time Axis (bottom): Ties exposure to sessions, showing whether leverage is building or being worked off over the period.
