Register on Bitget with referral code cpdiscount for a 20% rebate on the trading fees you pay. It is the largest rebate on this page, it does not expire, and it stacks on top of the VIP discounts you earn from volume.
cpdiscount Applied at account level through the link above. Once attached it needs no minimum activity to stay alive, but it cannot be added after registration.
Coinperps may earn a commission from partner links, at no extra cost to you. Offer terms are set by Bitget and can change. See how we test.
Open Bitget through the cpdiscount link so the 20% rebate attaches at account level before you trade.
Bitget scopes its deposit and trading milestones to roughly the opening week, so start them early rather than leaving them.
Completing a task is not the same as claiming it. Collect each voucher inside its claim window or it lapses.
Bitget referral code cpdiscount gives new accounts a 20% rebate on trading fees paid across spot, margin and futures. It is the largest kickback available through any offer in our referral codes hub. The discount is applied at account level, never expires and has no minimum activity requirement.
Bitget funds the rebate from the partner commission paid under its Affiliate Program Policy. Commission is based on net fees after the exchange deducts its own costs and adjustments. The rebate follows the same calculation. Trades with no fee, fills covered by rebate cards and pairs using special fee rates produce neither commission nor a rebate.
Copy trading fills are also eligible. Bitget is the largest copy trading venue covered by Coinperps, and followers pay the standard fee schedule on each mirrored order. The 20% rebate therefore applies to those trades. Any profit share paid to the lead trader is treated separately and does not qualify.
Each account is assigned to one channel during registration, and Bitget will not change that attribution later. Location is especially important when opening an account. Services in the EEA are suspended while Bitget awaits a licence decision, while its Japanese operation is being wound down. Our Bitget restricted countries list follows the current availability map. The Bitget exchange review examines the wider platform.

Welcome tasks must be completed within seven days of registration, so you should be prepared to fund the account shortly after signing up. The fee rebate has no deadline.

The advertised 6,200 USDT package combines two separate offers described in Bitget's Rewards Center guide. Neither is paid as a single account credit, and both have tight collection windows.
The 12-day period shown at the top of this page consists of seven days for completing tasks, followed by three days of monitoring and a final two-day claim window. A completed task pays nothing if the claim deadline is missed. This is the most common complaint about Bitget's onboarding process.
Futures Quest, CandyBomb pools and leaderboards displayed beside the welcome package are rotating campaigns. Each has separate rules and sits outside the referral terms.

Your rebate equals 20% of the fee paid, so its value depends on Bitget's underlying fee schedule. Spot orders cost 0.10% for both makers and takers. At the base tier, USDT-margined perpetuals charge 0.02% for makers and 0.06% for takers. Moving to a VIP tier reduces both the trading fee and the resulting rebate.
There are four separate ways to progress through Bitget's VIP ladder, according to its VIP system announcement. The exchange assesses spot volume, futures volume, asset balance and average BGB holdings over 30 days. Whichever measure produces the highest tier determines the rates across every product.
Tier | 30-day futures volume (USDT) | Asset balance (USDT) | Futures maker | Futures taker |
|---|---|---|---|---|
VIP 0 | 0 | 0 | 0.020% | 0.060% |
VIP 1 | 5 million | 30,000 | 0.019% | 0.060% |
VIP 2 | 10 million | 50,000 | 0.016% | 0.040% |
VIP 3 | 20 million | 250,000 | 0.014% | 0.0375% |
VIP 4 | 50 million | 750,000 | 0.012% | 0.035% |
VIP 5 | 100 million | 2 million | 0.010% | 0.032% |
VIP 6 | 300 million | 5 million | 0.008% | 0.030% |
VIP 7 | 1 billion | 10 million | 0.000% | 0.020% |
VIP 1 lowers the maker rate by one-tenth of a basis point but leaves the taker fee unchanged, making the tier close to worthless for traders who use market orders. Holding a $30,000 balance is enough to qualify. Taker fees do not decline until VIP 2, where the rate falls by one-third. Reaching that level requires either $50,000 in assets or $10 million in monthly futures volume.
Using BGB to pay spot fees provides another 20% discount on spot orders. Futures trades do not receive this token discount, leaving order type, VIP status and the referral rebate as the available cost reductions. Because the referral rebate is calculated after the tier discount, a VIP 2 taker charged 0.04% pays an effective 0.032% with cpdiscount.
Our maker vs taker fees guide explains why resting orders cost one-third as much as aggressive orders. The lowest fee perpetual exchanges ranking compares Bitget's schedule with Bybit, OKX and MEXC before referral rebates are included.

Leveraged traders stand to save the most because perpetual fees apply to the full value of each fill, not merely the margin used to support the position. Bitget offers leverage of up to 125x on major pairs. As a result, even a modest account can generate enough turnover for the 20% rebate to become meaningful.
Resting limit orders reduce costs by more than the referral rebate alone. At the 0.02% maker rate, the same $3 million in volume incurs $600 in fees and returns a $120 rebate. The total cost is two-thirds lower, making Bitget better suited to patient traders than scalpers who repeatedly take liquidity.
The discount also narrows Bitget's cost gap with cheaper exchanges. Applying the 20% rebate to its 0.06% taker fee produces an effective rate of 0.048%. That undercuts Bybit's 0.055% rate because the Bybit referral code does not include a rebate. OKX remains cheaper: its 0.05% taker fee falls to 0.0425% after the 15% OKX referral code.
The savings are much smaller for spot buyers. Processing $20,000 per month through market orders at the 0.10% rate costs $20 and generates a $4 rebate.
Funding payments do not qualify, nor does the profit share charged through copy trading. On Bitget's crypto perpetuals, funding passes between long and short traders three times per day. Our funding rates dashboard compares current rates across exchanges. Copy trading followers should also read our guide to avoiding auto-deleveraging, as they inherit the lead trader's liquidation risk in full.

Licensing decisions have not kept pace with Bitget's product expansion. They now determine both where the exchange can operate and how users should assess the safety of funds held there.
Development | Status | What it means for a new account |
|---|---|---|
MiCA application | Bitget EU filed with Austria's FMA on 17 June, confirmed in its authorisation update. It is not yet listed on the ESMA register | EEA residents cannot open accounts until approval is granted. Binance withdrew its Greek application one week later, so Bitget is not alone |
Japan exit | New registrations closed on 3 August. Accounts identified as Japanese become close-only from 1 November, with remaining positions force-closed after 31 December | The withdrawal follows FSA warnings dating to 2023. Anyone incorrectly flagged must complete Level 2 KYC before 1 November to avoid being included |
United States | Restricted. Bitget has an MSB registration but does not provide services to US residents | Using a VPN to access the exchange creates a risk of account freezing, as covered in our guide to using Bitget in the USA |
TradFi perpetuals | Bitget recorded nearly $70 billion in traditional-asset perpetual volume during the second quarter, according to TokenInsight figures reported by CoinGape. This followed its second-place share of stock perpetuals in the first | Contracts covering equities, commodities and forex use the standard fee schedule, so the 20% rebate applies |
Pre-IPO and options | IPO Prime launched with Republic in April, offering exposure to private companies. US stock options followed in July | These products broaden the account beyond crypto, although regional availability differs |
Custody assurance | Bitget has pledged a $300 million Protection Fund and publishes monthly Merkle-tree Proof of Reserves showing coverage above 100% | While the licence remains pending, verifiable reserves form the exchange's current safety case |
Bitget's registrations in Italy, Poland, Bulgaria, Lithuania and El Salvador do not amount to a passportable EU licence. The company has stated that it will not serve EEA users without one. Our MiCA licensed exchanges list identifies competitors that already qualify, while the best crypto futures platforms in Europe ranking covers the available alternatives.
The withdrawal from Japan sends a stronger signal. Bybit, KuCoin and MEXC were included in the same joint FSA warning, and Bybit has already completed a nearly identical wind-down. Offshore exchanges are being forced by regulatory pressure to choose which markets they will continue serving. Our perpetual futures regulation explainer follows these developments across the industry.

Bitget operates two programmes for attracting new traders. The programme attached to a code determines whether the invitee receives limited task rewards or an ongoing fee discount.
Any verified user can participate in the standard referral programme, which pays rewards for completing specified tasks. Bitget's referral rules give invitees 15 days to log in through the app and reach combined spot and futures volume thresholds. Once those requirements are met, both participants receive BGB airdrops and Mystery Boxes.
The code on this page comes from Bitget's affiliate programme. Approved partners receive up to 50% of an invitee's net trading fees and may return a portion to that trader as a permanent discount. With cpdiscount, the returned share is 20%. Unlike the standard programme's one-off rewards, this rebate carries no expiry date or activity requirement.
A separate Premier Inviter scheme pays qualifying inviters 25% of their invitees' fees for a limited period. Continued referral activity is required, and the scheme does not alter the invitee's benefits. High-volume traders comparing referral and tier-based savings can consult our best crypto exchange VIP programs roundup. It compares Bitget's four qualification methods with those offered by OKX and Bybit.
Bitget referral code cpdiscount provides a 20% rebate on eligible spot, margin, futures and copy trading fees. The benefit does not expire or require a minimum level of activity. It is the largest ongoing discount in this series, reducing Bitget's 0.06% taker rate to an effective 0.048%, below Bybit's base rate. Using maker orders or qualifying for VIP 2 lowers the fee further before the rebate is calculated.
Bitget's 6,200 USDT welcome package is genuine, but the timing is strict. Users are more often caught out by the two-day claim period after monitoring than by the tasks themselves. The exchange's TradFi perpetuals, pre-IPO access and copy trading depth place it fifth in our coverage. Its unresolved MiCA application and withdrawal from Japan prevent a higher ranking.
